Rent the Lodge by the Wing

At this time, Durward's Glen Retreat Center does not rent out individual sleeping rooms to guests. Our main building is divided into three wings: the East Wing, the Log Lodge, and the South Wing. Groups rent out the building by the wing, which encompasses multiple rooms within a designated area. We also offer “add-on” rentals of our Common Areas to best meet the needs of our guests.

What to Expect

For many years, Durward's Glen has been a respite to those looking to disconnect from the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature, and to be more present without distraction. With our mission in mind, please understand that our accommodations are beautifully rustic, vintage-inspired, and old-fashioned. Cell and Wi-Fi service is weak. We have no TVs, but plenty of old books and board games. Our walls are thin, but our bedding is clean and cozy. Peace and quiet abound here.

Rental Policies

Rental Agreements

A 50% deposit is due within 14 days of receiving a formal Rental Agreement. The remaining balance is due at the time of your event.

Cancellation Policy

75+ days in advance: full refund of deposit
Within 45 days: 50% of deposit refunded
Within 30 days: no refund

Hiking Trails

37-acre property open dawn to dusk. Explore trails, Stations of the Cross, and shrines throughout the glen.

Internet / WiFi

Available but very limited due to remote location. No password required. Use a VPN if needed for security.

Smoke-Free Environment

Smoking is prohibited in all buildings and on the grounds.

Pet Policy

Only service animals are permitted in buildings. Leashed pets are welcome on the grounds.

Accessibility Notice

Our property was built in the 1930s and expanded in the 1950s, before many of the newer ADA requirements. Due to our historic preservation, our buildings are NOT completely handicapped accessible. Nearly all rentable lodging space is on the First and Second Floors, accessible only by stairwells, with the exception of the South Wing. Ramp accessibility is available to our Main Hall & Main Kitchen, as well as the First Floor of the South Wing.
